It's a huge help for me to have a fast, easy and convenient go-to breakfast option for those mornings that I'm running behind. This is the perfect breakfast recipe for those of us who are chronically late! Do yourself a favor and spend the three minutes it takes to whip up this muffin-in-a-mug recipe, and you'll never have to miss breakfast again.

Breakfast the Most Important Meal of the Day?

Like most of you, my health and fitness journey is all about taking things one day at a time. And each day is about doing the next healthy thing, one step at a time. For me, that starts with a healthy breakfast! We've all heard that breakfast is the most important meal of the day because it jump-starts your metabolism. The science is pretty clear on this, too. Ingredients: Muffin-in-a-Mug Recipe

3 Tablespoons Almond Flour

1.5 Tablespoons Melted Butter

1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder

1 Egg White

Optional Sandwich: Turkey Bacon (cooked crispy), Egg (scrambled or fried), and Fat-Free Cheddar Cheese.

1/2 cup Bisquick Substitute: 1 cup almond flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 tablespoon oil/margarine/butter; 1 teaspoon baking powder.

1 cup Milk

Healthy, low-carb and low-maintenance muffin-in-a-mug! A delicious breakfast treat with almost no clean-up required.

Instructions: Fry, Stir, Mix and Bake!

Whisk: all ingredients in a mug.

Microwave: on High for Ninety (90) Seconds.

Toast: if desired!

Optional: add egg, turkey bacon and cheese. Enjoy your 3-minute muffin sammich!!
